To allow the app to function and work smoothly and keep up to date regularly to comply with the latest technology changes, there are services we must use. Nonetheless, we secure your privacy. All gathered information is kept anonymous. So, we don’t know who specifically you are. We just identify that someone stopped by our website or app. Below you can find the information we may gather.

“SafeSecret” is a File manager that allows you to store or share private data in an encrypted form on our app via our secure servers which will save the memory of your device. And can be accessed easily across multiple devices whenever you need access to your private files.

With “SafeSecret” security is taken with a high level of care. We strive to provide the best and most secure services to ensure that data is not accessed, modified, destroyed, or disclosed without your consent. Any pin codes you use to lock your files or folders as well as sending and sharing with others is encrypted end-to-end. This means that nobody except you knows or has access to the pin code. As the pin codes are encrypted where they are stored as well. So, developers including all other employees of the app HAVE NO ACCESS to your encrypted files.

Whatever content you save or share on our app, shall not be shared with any marketing partners by “SafeSecret”.

Your content has never been sold to any third party. It is intended that your files stored in the “SafeSecret” will remain private, not shared, or sold to anybody.

We have many ways we secure your privacy. When you create any type of password or passcode, they are stored encrypted on our servers. It is just cyphered data, that you control when to decrypt or encrypt.

But of course, to an extent, it is not 100 percent safe to use any technology and we cannot guarantee all to you. We provide our Services “As is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties either implied or expressed about the Services. We do not promise specific functions of the services, their reliability, or availability. Please keep in mind that no security system is impenetrable. It may be possible for third parties to intercept or access “SafeSecret” Customer Information and Customer User Data in spite of these measures. “SafeSecret” cannot guarantee the security of any of the information you provided to us will be never obtained, used, published, modified, or destroyed by unauthorized persons and cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access to “SafeSecret” Customer accounts. When it comes to sharing data via our QR codes or Links, technically it is completely out of our control, we cannot promise anything regarding what action the receiver will undertake after accessing the data.

You also have a role in the safety and security of your information. Do not share your accounts, passcodes, or passwords with others, unless you are sending a file to view, and you are sure about the correct person accessing the file. If you think someone’s broken into your account let us know as soon as possible.

You're trusted with our service, and the security of your data is respected at “SafeSecret”. In connection with or during the negotiations on any merger, sale of company assets, funding, and purchase of all or part of our activities, we can communicate your information to another entity.

Collected types of Personal Data can be collected by “SafeSecret” or third parties. As described below.

Data may be provided by the User or by "SafeSecret" application depending on the usage case.

Most User Data collected by “SafeSecret” is needed for “SafeSecret” to provide services, comply with legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, detect fraudulent activity, or protect its rights and interests including third parties. Some features might not work correctly if not allowed by the User.

Usage of tracking tools and cookies by “SafeSecret” or owners of third-party services used by “SafeSecret” serve to provide services required by the User and for any other purposes described in this document and Cookie Policy if available. Users shall be responsible for any third-party personal data obtained, published, or shared through Private Photo Vault, and shall confirm that they have the consent of the third party to provide the data to the owner.

“SafeSecret” takes appropriate security measures to protect User data. Data processing happens via computers and technology tools that are designed to handle this type of data. In some cases. The data may be accessible to some people in charge of handling the “SafeSecret” application which may include administration, marketing, developers, legal, sales, or third-party technical service providers. (Mail carriers, hosting providers, technology companies, and other agencies)

“SafeSecret” may process Personal Data related to Users when Users have given their consent by using the application. As noted, Personal Data processing is done only for the purpose of allowing the “SafeSecret” application features and services to work smoothly. Data may be processed at “SafeSecret” locations, and any other parties involved in the process. Depending on the Users location, data transfers might include transferring Users' Data to a county other than their own.

Data may be stored for as long as needed depending on the purpose of what they have been collected.

API: All data sent to our servers is secured via SSL. The data you added during the QR code creation is processed and secured by our servers.

Device permissions for Personal Data access;

Depending on the Users device, “SafeSecret” may ask for Personal Data access such as camera permission (needed to take pictures and videos using the device camera), photo library permission (needed to upload and download files from the device), files permission (needed to upload and download files from the device), microphone (need to record voice using the device microphone) and precise location permission (In order to provide location-based services, but it is determined only when needed not continuously). By default, the User must grant permission, otherwise, the Application cannot access. Once the permission was granted it can only be revoked by the User at any time by going to the device settings. More details about revoking access can depend on the Users device and can be found in their manuals. Please keep in mind by revoking so permissions some services of the app might not work as needed. Category of personal information collected according to the CCPA: internet information; geolocation data. This processing constitutes a sale according to the CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA, and a targeted advertising according to the CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA.

Analytics allow the “SafeSecret” app to monitor and analyze web traffic and keep track of User actions. We use Google Analytics services for analyzing. Google uses User data for its own purposes, to monitor and analyze the use of “SafeSecret” in conjunction with other Google services, to publish reports on its activities so that they can be shared. The data collected can be used by Google to analyze and personalize the advertising on its own ad network.

App features & performance testing is done via a Google service- Firebase Remote Config that requires the processing of personal types of info as specified in the privacy policy of the service. It is processed in the United States, privacy policy. According to the internet information available, this falls into the category of personal information collected according to the CCPA on the internet: This processing constitutes: a sale according to the CCPA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA targeted advertising according to the CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA.

Contacting Users via “SafeSecret”- When subscribing, signing up, and filling out the contact form “SafeSecret” may store personal data such as email address, first name, and last name. This falls into the category of personal information collected according to the CCPA: identifiers. This processing constitutes a sale according to the VCDPA.

Advertising enables users’ data to be used for advertising purposes. In “SafeSecret” it may appear in the form of a banner, full screen, or in other forms, which can be relevant to the Users’ interests. Some services use Trackers to identify User types or to target their behaviors. For more conditions and details, you may check the privacy policy details on the service. Almost all Services have the possibility to opt out of advertisement tracking.

The service we partner with for advertisements is Google-AdMob may use personal data such as Cookies; unique device identifiers for advertising (Google Advertiser ID or IDFA, for example), Usage Data; “SafeSecret” shows advertisements on the basic/free plan. To display targeted advertisements, “SafeSecret” may share your device ID or IP address information with 3rd party marketing partners.

In addition to any opt-out services provided by any of the listed services in this document, Users may follow the instructions provided by the Network Advertising Initiative (US), the Digital Advertising Alliance (US), DAAC (Canada),  YourOnlineChoices (EU) and DDAI (Japan) or other similar initiatives. Most advertisers allow Users to select their tracking preferences. In addition to the information contained in this document, it is recommended that Users take advantage of these resources.

An application called AppChoices is available by the Digital Advertising Alliance that allows Users to manage interest advertising in mobile applications. The user may also choose not to display certain advertising features, such as the device ads settings for mobile phones or general ad setups, through an appropriate device setting.


All payments are handled and processed via third-party services such as Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

These services allow “SafeSecret” to offer in-app purchases. Personal Data processed to complete purchases are processed by Apple as described in the privacy policy for the App Store or by Google Play Store as described in the privacy policy for the Google Play Store. Processed payment data from personal info may be stored. This category falls into personal information collected according to the CCPA: commercial information.

This processing constitutes: a sale according to the CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA and targeted advertising according to the CPA, CTDPA, and UCPA. As payments are processed via AppStore you can find the terms as described in the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA).

Hosting and backend infrastructure uses third-party services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and HostGator. The purpose of this type of service is to host data and files which allow “SafeSecret” to run and be disseminated to create a ready infrastructure that allows it to perform some features or parts of “SafeSecret”. Some of the services listed below may, if applicable, use geographically distributed servers and therefore it is difficult to determine their actual location where personal data are stored.

-History: You can choose to save information about all the QR codes sent or not. If you choose to activate your history, you will be able to see the details about all the QR codes sent from your account.

  • Our Services may include web-based or downloadable software, which may automatically be updated on your device to the latest versions. We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, and non-transferable use of the Software solely for to use of the Services. Components of the software may be offered under an open-source license; in this case, we will provide the availability of such a license to you. Provisions of the open-source license may expressly override some of these Terms.
  • We may periodically change the features of our Services, withdraw or add new features.


  • We have free services as well as paid plans depending on your needs. The free plan can be maintained by showings ads. If you do wish to use our app without ads then you can subscribe to the paid plan(s). 
  • There are no hidden fees. We do not limit the number of generations or scans of your dynamic QR Codes, nor will we ever ask you to pay to keep your Dynamic QR codes accessible.

In-App Purchase Terms:

  • For Users who purchase an auto-recurring periodic Membership subscription through an in-app purchase, their App Store or Google Play Store account will be billed continuously for the subscription until canceled.  After your initial subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent subscription period, your Membership will automatically continue for an additional equivalent period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing.  If you do not wish your Membership to renew automatically, or if you want to change or terminate your subscription, you will need to log in to your App Store or Google Play Store account and follow instructions to cancel your subscription, even if you have otherwise deleted your account with “SafeSecret” or if you have deleted our mobile application from your device.  The App Store or Google Play Store may charge you a sales tax, depending on where you live.

Subscription Terms:

Your subscription comes with automatic renewals so you don’t have to worry about missing out on anything important. You can easily manage your subscription in your Apple iTunes or Google Play Store Subscription Manager and can turn off your subscription whenever you want.  If you want to cancel, you need to cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The payment will be charged to your iTunes or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Renewals will be charged automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period and recognize the renewal cost. Subscriptions may only be managed on the iTunes or Play Store account. There can not be any refunds once paid for a subscription. Even if you cancel we can not refund the not used period. 

Please take note that deleting your account on “SafeSecret” or deleting it from your device may not cancel your ongoing Membership subscription; in such case, we will continue charging all funds via your App Store or Google Play Store account until you cancel your subscription.

Shutdown policy:

  • All QR codes except for the destruction-type ones will always be available for you to view. If it happens so that we have to terminate our services in the future, we will definitely notify you about it before any QR code becomes inaccessible.

Limitation of Liability:

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, in case of any issue occurred related to our services we will not be liable for any damages or loss of data, business, profits, computer hardware, or software.

Changes to Terms:

  • We always own the rights to these Terms and can make amendments to or modifications at any time. The latest updated versions will always be available on our website. If you still continue using our services after any changes or updates are done and take effect, this means that you agree to the revised Terms.
